Hello!
Today i'm going to speak about a typical colombian dish that is very rare for other countries, but is so delicious!!!
This is a well know recipe in Colombia, and it is delicious to see how cheese gradually melts into the chocolate!
Hot chocolate originates from another ancient civilization in South America: the Incas.
In Colombia, cocoa is one of the largest and most important industries, and chocolate is one of the most consumed foods in the country. So much so that in recent years new ways of eating it have been sought to change its consistency and flavor. And so this strange tradition arose.
To do it, we just need... (For three cups)
- Milk (1 1/2 cup = 375ml)
- Water (1 cup = 250ml).
- Chocolate, It can be made of tablets or cocoa balls made by hand (125gr).
- Cinnamon (5gr) (optional).
- Vanilla (1 tsp) (optional).
- Cheese (The amount that you want).
- Cheese (The amount that you want).
To prepare it...
1. You should bring the cup of water to a boil in a pot.
2. You must flavor with cinnamon and a few drops of vanilla essence.
3. Add the 2 cups of milk and let the taste of the spices permeate, cooking until it is about to boil.
4. Add the chocolate in small pieces so that it melts little by little; keep on low heat and mix constantly to distribute the mixture and give uniformity to the result.
5. keep stirring until mixture thickens.
6. Serve the hot chocolate with the pieces of fresh cheese or by grating a little of it on the drink.
And ready! Enjoy your "chocolate caliente con queso"!
Thanks!
